Dental Receptionist and Administrator
Amy joined Goyt Valley Dental Practice in 2016 and has been a vital part of our reception and administration team ever since.
As the first point of contact for patients—whether by phone or in person—Amy plays a key role in creating a welcoming and reassuring environment. She is known for her warm, friendly greetings and her ability to make patients feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
In her role as a dental administrator, Amy manages a wide range of responsibilities that are essential to the smooth running of the practice. These include scheduling and managing patient appointments, handling enquiries, coordinating treatment plans, processing payments, and ensuring that patient records are accurately maintained and up to date. Amy also liaises with dental clinicians and external suppliers to help streamline daily operations.
Drawing on her previous experience as a personal assistant, Amy brings strong diary management, communication, and organisational skills to the role. She is adept at multitasking in a busy environment while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
Outside of work, Amy lives with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, going on dog walks, and taking trips to the seaside at the weekends.
